Adrenaline Autosound in Clayton, North Carolina, has a unique way of doing business. We look to understand your goal to offer a solution, rather than simply offer you a product. Our process takes a few minutes longer than using other shops, but the results are well worth the investment. Here is how Adrenaline Autosound does business.
The Initial Interaction
Our objective is to understand the reason behind your request. Some clients have straightforward and focused inquiries while others are somewhat vague. There is nothing wrong with coming to us and saying, “My stereo does not sound good” or “I want more bass.” In fact, these opportunities are where our process shines.
Depending on the nature of the intended enhancement, we may want to inspect your vehicle. If you have a car we have worked on, then the inspection process will be relatively quick. If the vehicle is new, or the trim level is something we have not seen before, then more research is required. This step is like preparing for surgery. Your doctor will request X-rays and tests to know exactly what he or she is dealing with before starting the operation.
The Adrenaline Audition Process
As we develop a solution for you, the process of auditioning speakers and subwoofers is important. We have many different speaker systems for you to listen to in our store. We can explain how they differ in terms of design and performance.
We have developed a proprietary subwoofer demonstration system to allow our clients to listen to subwoofers in their vehicles during the consultation process. Listening to a subwoofer in a car is much different from doing so in a showroom. In fact, everything about the way they sound is better in a car or truck. We do this to ensure you will make an educated decision to ensure the success of your project.
Our System Design Approval Process
Once we have developed a solution for a client, we will provide a detailed and itemized quote. This quote contains everything, including equipment, parts, labor and material costs, and sales tax. We do not want any surprises – just happy customers.
When you drop off your vehicle, we will confirm that you understand and are comfortable with what we are going to do. We perform a formal vehicle “check-in” and inspect the functionality of all electronic systems and the physical condition of the vehicle. We record a high-definition video of the interior and exterior of the vehicle, and upload that to our storage server. This process ensures that the vehicle is returned to you in the same condition as when we received it.
Not an Installation – Solution Integration
We do not label ourselves as installers. We are fabricators and system integrators. We take the time to test and fine-tune each step of the process to ensure our clients get every ounce of performance possible. How we adjust polarity and crossover settings in the simplest of speaker upgrades or subwoofer installations has a dramatic effect on the sound of the system. In a large system with a DSP, crossovers, signal delay and equalization, our experience and knowledge are crucial to extracting the best possible performance from the system.
System Delivery and Consultation
Once your project is complete, we will invite you in to explain how everything works. If you have a new radio, we will show you how to pair the Bluetooth connection. If you have purchased an audio system, we will let you listen to your music on it. Sometimes a few personalization adjustments are required, and that is all part of our process. We finish by thanking our customers for entrusting us to fulfill their requests and remind them that they can contact us at any time with questions. We are here to help.
